This listing is for (4) Commercial Door Access Control Electromagnetic Locks. These are what is used on a lot of gates and doors of apartment buildings and other secured buildings. These run on 12 volts and stay locked when voltage is applied and disengage when the voltage is removed. 2 are new and never removed from the packaging, 1 is new and was removed from the packaging but not used and the other was used for one night with a Halloween decoration during a party. All are complete with mounting hardware and will work for your needs, you will get all four.
OVERVIEW:
This is a magnetic lock that consists of the 12V electromagnet and a plate. You mount the electromagnet to the door frame and the plate to the door. As current passes through the electromagnet, it holds the plate tight, holding the door locked shut. When the current to the electromagnet is removed, the door can be opened. It is suitable for all types and size doors. Includes 4 lock kits, each kit contains: electromagnetic lock, plate and mounting hardware.
