It felt appropriate to post this gorgeous piece of Americana beauty just in time for the 4th of July! It is not only an item of clothing but a rare bit of history, inscribed with the name of its original owner, “Augusta Pragst.” The hand-embroidered “P” is another beautiful detail. I didn’t know Augusta but I imagine she was lovely if her measurements tell any kind of tale! Sure, it’s a bit of a wounded bird, but still totally wearable and absolutely romantic and priced accordingly.
