    Description

    Heathkit IP-32 High Voltage Power Supply. B+ voltage: 0-400V, 100 ma, C- voltage: 0-100V, 1 ma., filament voltage: 6.3 VAC, 4 amps.
    I briefly powered up the Heathkit IP-32 using a variac and all 3 voltages are present (the C- and B+ voltages go up to 100v and 400v). I did replace a leaky C8, it was causing a lower B+ output than expected (the output is adjustable with an internal pot). AC current draw is normal and stable with no signs of component overheating.
    This is a clean unit with no rust or corrosion from a non-smoking environment (see photos).
    The unit has not been refurbished. Like all vintage tube equipment, the unit should be checked out by a technician for maximum performance and reliability.
