To complement our other Mushroom Growing products, we now offer mushroom substrate casing as well. Out Grows mushroom casing is made up of many choice organic products. Out-Grows casing contains peat moss, vermiculite, pH buffer, pH stabilizer, gypsum, and a few other choice ingredients. As with all of our products we extensively tested and adjusted out recipe and preparation until we got it perfect.

Casing is a non-nutritious moisture retaining layer spread on top of your mushroom substrate. It covers the substrate holding in precious water and creating a micro-climate to help encourage even pin sets. Your casing needs to be pasteurized, pH balanced and moisture content adjusted. If you’re mushroom casing is to wet it can actually harm the pin set and if the mushroom casing is to dry it can also have adverse effects on your substrate. We guarantee the perfect moister content in our casing.
