This is a NEW Schlage Locknetics Power Bolt 405 ARSB/DSB Solenoid Mortise Lock, Right Angle, Fail Safe. This is the original 405 (400 Series) with the button sensor for Auto Relock/Door Position and NOT the newer PB405 with the magnetic sensor. The deadbolt is at right angles to the solenoid, to save space and it is the fail safe version (power to lock).
New old stock, factory sealed, surplus from a government lab where they were kept as spares. The photos show one that one of us bought - If you know how to field convert one from fail safe to fail secure, please get in touch. Boxes show minor shelf wear etc.
