    Description

Printed Circuit Board (PCB) ONLY.  This printed circuit board component and the resulting high voltage power supply are intended for experienced persons, and the supply produces potentially dangerous voltages. The schematic and a representative component list will ship with the PCB. It is not available beforehand.. No other components are included in this auction.
Unfortunately our pricing structure does not allow discounts for multiple purchases on this item.
    PCB dimensions:  3.5" x 2.5"
For a 100-330VDC regulated variable power supply using this PCB, we have employed the following components.  Your choice of components may be different.  The Antique Wireless Association is not endorsing any particular component or vendor.
    C1: 100μF 450V electrolytic capacitor
    C2: 1μF 450V electrolytic capacitor
    C3: 22uF 450V electrolytic capacitor
    D1-D5: 1N4007 diode
HS1: Depends on your overall design, Ohmite FA-T220-38E fits on PCB
    PCB:  AWA Rev 6 8/2020
    Q1: TIP50 NPN power transistor
Q1 Mounting Kit: Like AAVID 4880MG
    R1: 2k, 1/4-watt resistor
R2: Used for fixed output voltage only; not used with VR1
    R3: 150k, 2-watt
    R4: 160k, 1/4-watt resistor
T1: HV power transformer, like Triad VPS230-110
    U1: LR8N3-G 3-terminal adjustable regulator
    VR1: 500k 1/2-watt, like Bourns 3296Y-1-504LF
Operational load current depends on your power transformer and TIP50 power dissipation.
The PCB allows for an on-board or remote variable resistor (VR1) for voltage control.
The PCB allows for a fixed output voltage, using R2.
The PCB allows for a remote transistor (Q1) and custom heat sink (HS1).
This auction is for the printed circuit board (PCB) only.  There are no other components included in this auction.
The Antique Wireless Association museum is run by volunteers.  Our "work day" is Tuesdays.   Your item will be shipped then.   If there are any questions please feel free to contact us by return email.   We try to check the email at least once a day.
