    Description

Buttermilk is one of the most common edible mushrooms of the Middle zone. It got its name because of the cap covered with an oily film. The stem is 3-8 cm long, cylindrical, golden-yellow or brownish, has a white filmy ring, which browns and disappears with the age of the fungus.
The cap with a diameter of 3-10 cm, from dark brown, brick-red, yellow-red to lighter shades, has an oily sheen. The flesh of the mushrooms is white or yellowish, has a pleasant mushroom and coniferous smell. It is used in fried, boiled, pickled form. It is used for drying and freezing.
Before using the buttermilk, boil and clean the caps from the films. Tips for breeding: It is recommended to break up a mushroom plantation from May to August. The plot should grow coniferous trees (pine, spruce, foliage), preferably young.
As compost for cultivation, a mixture of soil for indoor plants with a high content of peat with sawdust of coniferous trees is used.
