Solid Sterling Victorian Women's Antique Sash Pin 1800s / Early-1900s, 0.8 oz.

Description

This is a really great late-1800s or early-1900s Victorian women's solid sterling sash pin. It is marked on back "
Sterling 2949
" and has the axe or hatchet stamp. I'm not sure if this is a manufacturer's mark or a purity mark. It weighs 0.8 oz. and measures 1.5" tall x 2-5/8" wide. It is in excellent condition. I have not cleaned or polished it at all. I will leave it up to the winning bidder to decide if they want to polish it.
