Here is a great vintage hammered dulcimer for your buying consideration.
Would make a great gift for a special occasion or keep for yourself!
A beautiful hammered dulcimer here.  There appears to be 48 strings.  Made by Green River Dulcimers in December 1985.  The original owner acquired the piece in April 1986.  They paid then just for the case this well crafted musical instrument is in (receipt in case).
Just a beautifully crafted instrument here.  There are 2 sound holes in the body of the instrument.  They have the design of a tree probably by the Green River bank on each of them.
The strings appear to all be in place, but not sure how long they have been on there.  So, may need restringing at some point in the future.  There is a small metal tuning fork  and then four hammers with the instrument.  There are two wrenches (1 goose neck, 1 T-handle) to set the strings to their appropriate tone.
The body of the dulcimer is intact.  No cracks, repairs or loose joints.  I do see a 3.5" hairline in right black wood piece (ebony?).  Probably attributable to the shrinkage of the wood over time.  This hairline is not impacting the tightness/soundness of the metal tuner pegs that the playing strings attach to.  Small scratch on the longest side.  There is no stand with this dulcimer.
This musical instrument is not represented to be in playing condition (we say that about all of our instruments as each of you have different criteria as to how playable is defined).  There most likely will need to be refurbishing done to make this instrument playable again.

The dulcimer is 34-3/8" across the bottom side and 21" across the top side.  The dulcimer is 14/25" wide and 3-7/8" tall at the tallest point.  Appears to be dowel pins that run from one side of the dulcimer's body to the other.
We also acquired an Arion HU-8400 Micron Chromatic Tuner, and a Master Key Chromatic Pitch Instrument  (Model A-440) for 13 keys at the same time.  These two items will be sold separately in our Ebay store.  The listing numbers for them will be noted here when published.
