Vintage Superior Electric Powerstat D1000R  Variac Transformer Dimmer. 1000 watts, 8.3 amps.
Tested working.  Line voltage between pins 1 & 2.  Supply/load between 4 & 5.
Knob has a crack.  Comes with face plate and 3 screws.
In good shape for the age, however it's not perfect.  Please look closely at pics for condition.
There are scuffs, scratches, etc.
No other testing done.
