NOT AN EXPERT. HAD this checked by electrician friend (40+ Yrs.experience )  who told me they used these on the cranes at the loading docks because of there accuracy. Said it actually boosted input voltage from 115V to 140V and is very clean and stable. Useful for a big appliance that trips the breaker or a business that has an appliance issue. Has a fuse and has wire nuts to use to test.  This unit is very heavy. the copper alone he said is worth quite a lot simply as scrap. Sold AS-IS and as Shown.
