    Description

For your consideration is this Working Vintage Radio Shack Micronta Variable Transformer
This is a used and modified item which is being sold as seen.
It has been mounted to two boards and a previous owner has added a small exterior busbar for the output voltage which really makes the transformer easier to use and much more versatile.  The original integrated two-prong plug outlet is still present and usable as well.
The transformer works fine and I have uploaded a short video showing it working and adjusting output voltage.
It takes eBay a few days to approve a video, so if you do not see it, please keep checking back.
*Although the unit is labeled and described as a "0-140" volt output, my multimeter shows a minimum output voltage of about 2.7 volts and a maximum of 160 volts.  I get the same general readings from both the original integrated two-prong plug outlet and the busbar modification.  With this in mind, all outputs seem to be slightly higher than the dial reading/ setting so please use care until you figure out the nuances of this equipment.
As can be seen, this transformer has been crudely mounted to two boards.  Although this is a great idea, it could really use remounting.  I can and will removed the boards, if requested, which should lower the shipping size and weight.
Mounted, the offering is about 12 1/4" wide (side to side), 8 1/2" tall and about 7 1/2" deep (front to back)
    The actual transformer is about 5 1/2" x 6" x 7"
The mounted weight is about 10 pounds 8 ounces.
Please feel free to ask any questions,
    Thank You!!
